Tim: Yeah, I do sometimes. The mix you get on stage is very, very different to at home. So, to get a kick out of how it sounds on stage, for me, usually comes from it being loud.
ILM: Is there a track that you particularly like to play live?
Tim: We have re-worked Beat-Dis. So that has been quite fun to do again. We've chopped it around.
ILM: You still had the parts for it?
Tim: Absolutley. The thing is, a few years ago, luckily, I went through my old tapes and had them baked. Because of the duration of time if you don't do that and play them, there is a very good chance of the tape snapping. So what you do is bake them at a low temperature and that re-activates the glue. When that happens you can play it. I got all the multi-tracks into a studio and spent a day transferring stuff to my computer. It was during this process that I was able to listen to a load of old tracks and started to think about how I would re-work them now.
