Bowling For Soup Chat To I Like Music

ILM: What is the Bowling For Soup process of making music, how does it all come together and how do you like to work?

Jaret: I write in my studio or with friends. Usually based around a concept I have in the shower or while sleeping. I do rough demos and then the band get together and mess around with the songs. We then record demos, and use the demos as templates in the studio for the real thing. The hard part is that I write a LOT of songs. I wrote 60 or so for this album! We recorded 25 and had to narrow it down to 13... whew! That was tough!

ILM: All of your songs have a very strong comedy element, what have been some of the funniest moments throughout your time in the band?
