Jaret: We laugh constantly.Until it hurts a lot of times. Last weekend Gary said "I am so sore from laughing I feel like I broken a rib" All of our stories start with "One time we were really hammered and...." then insanity ensues....Good times!

ILM: Have you ever written any music/songs in a style or genre different to your own or under a different name?

Jaret: I do it all the time. I write songs for other artists or for my own use, whatever. Erik and I have a little side thing. Nothing serious...but it's more of an Americana type sound. I like all kinds of music...everything...So getting into things from a writers perspective is always a fun challenge.

ILM: Who/what are your musical inspirations?

Jaret: I am inspired by anything and everything. Life, TV, friends, family. I think my lyric style comes from listening to a lot of country music growing up. Thus the story-telling we do so often. I draw a lot from hair metal because I feel it shaped me as a kid....Ramones, The Descendants, Bad Religion...shit...put all of that in a pot and stir it and you have BFS...!
