graham young: ilikemusic because... its the food of love...........rock on.
Keane: ilikemusic because... It’s the way we express ourselves
simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
Lolopino: ilikemusic because... I can feel it music in my own heART! <3
dawn Leonetti: ilikemusic because... it makes me spin, giggle and bubble up - kinda my own Rice Crispies cereal ("snap, crackle, pop") in the audio form...
steven bance: ilikemusic becaucse... it produses feelings of utopia.
dj tie one: ilikemusic because... its like cornflakes in the morning
Omid16B: ilikemusic because... It makes me feel whole and makes me feel like I have my feet on the ground. It makes me feel love again and reminds me of what we are. It allows me to express myself.
RejinaReclusive: ilikemusic because... it helps me remember. It helps me forget. It helps me be strong and it makes me cry. Music screams the words I can't say, the feelings I can't express. It makes my heart feel alive.
Oh, and she's getting more tattoos. Two, naturally. One on each arm. Two hummingbirds, one for Tim, one for Phil, "cos they're just quick moving little creatures with fast metabolisms and weird personalities". So she can still stand on stage, one identical twin on either side, two identical tattoos on either arm. Perfectly symmetrical.
It's an interesting contradiction. On the one hand her creativity is clearly flowing freely with no rules or boundaries; in fact she complains how producers have told her you can't write a song without a chorus and insists there's no formula to writing. Yet the other side of life appears surprisingly rigid.
"I get stuck on the symmetry thing, I mean you have to push me really hard to re-arrange my furniture … sconces have to be in the same spot, paintings have to straight. Actually when I was a kid I used to get stuck in a room or get stuck somewhere counting things like tiles or something until it either equalled the number seven or a number that was divisible by seven. I would get stuck in there just doing that... Although I'm the worst at Math you've ever seen, I'm dyslexic, so it may be my right brain's effort to find something that it can control and do right because I had to struggle so badly in school".
