Ciara chats to I Like Music
Ciara has just released her second album The Evolution (released April 9th) preceded by new single, Like A Boy (released April 2nd). Already a #1 Billboard smash in the US, the album produced by Pharrell, Rodney Jerkins, Polow and will.i.am, is set to take the UK by storm.
Ciara, who is one of todays most popular young female artists, released her debut album 'Goodies' in 2005 selling over 3 million records worldwide and achieving platinum status in the UK. Her debut single 'Goodies' held the #1 position in the Billboard 100 singles chart for an amazing 7 consecutive weeks and reached the #1 slot in the UK charts.
The Evolution portrays an amazing two years for the gorgeous Atlanta born Ciara who only celebrated her 21st birthday last October.
"It's called The Evolution because I feel like I'm graduating to a whole new level creatively and musically. I co-wrote every song and co-produced many of the tracks on this record so it really reflects where I am as an artist," she says of the album.
