Colbie Caillat chats to ilikemusic
A great song, says Colbie Caillat, should lift your heart, warm the soul and make you feel good. Her massive first single is 'Bubbly', and certainly does just that, with over 10million plays on myspace its set to be huge.
I Like Music caught up with Colbie Caillat ahead of the single and album release to talk about Bubbly, it's success online and her subsequent deal.

ilm: Your single 'Bubbly' is out in the UK on 24th September. Can you give us your own personal description of the tracks whole vibe?
Colbie: Yeah, it's an accoustic pop sound, its very laid back. It's about the feelings you get when you have a crush on someone and they make you make smile all the time; they give you butterflies and you just adore everything they do.
ilm: And where did the inspiration for that song come from?
Colbie: It was last summer and I was realising I didn't have a crush on anyone, and its always fun to have a crush... So I was just thinking about missing those feelings and wanting them.
