Craig David chats to ilikemusic.com
International star Craig David kept it real when he came back to his roots and back to Southampton, before heading off to Bahrain to conclude the rest of his world tour. In just under four years Craig has risen to global stardom and has even cracked the tough US market, hooking up with the likes of J-Lo, Mariah Carey and various other A-list cookies. On the Southampton Pitch, Craig took time out of his hectic schedule visiting his old haunts, to speak to ilikemusic.com about his tour, his music and his life.

ILM: Your single World Filled With Love is out next week, (Oct 13, 2003), can you tell me a bit about it?
Craig: The song started off being inspired by the Beatles and the Beach Boys. I wanted to do something a little different and it was talking about how things have changed for me. Living the dream as opposed to dreaming of living that. And how there's certain things I'd love to be able to do, like come to a football match on a Saturday and go and see my friends and chill out with them.
