ILM: Where do you get your inspiration from?
DJ Ironik: I just get my inspiration from everyday life. From just walking down the street, really.
ILM: How did you get involved in music?
DJ Ironik: Well, I started out DJ-ing at the age of 13 and then producing at the age of 15. Then I went on to writing my own lyrics at 18. I've been doing that ever since. Then I set up a Myspace account. I was always on Myspace, updating people on what I was doing. Letting the fans know what was going on. The Myspace eventually built up to having millions of views.
ILM: What would be your advice to anyone looking to come into the music industry?
DJ Ironik: Keep working hard and make sure you stay consistent because the fans have a lot of things they want to hear.
ILM: What can we expect if we come to see you live?
