There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.Daniel Merriweather's, critically acclaimed and highly anticipated album, Love & War, debuted at No. 2 in the Official UK album chart and has now shipped in excess of 180,000 copies, certifying it gold.

"I Like Music because… it makes me happy" DANIEL MERRIWEATHER
ILM: We spoke before the release of Love & War, which debuted at number two in the UK album chart! How did you feel about that response?
Daniel: I was so flattered! You make an album and it's very personal. You don't know how people will respond to it, and when they respond well, it's a nice surprise!
ILM: How do you feel about the record since its release, have you listened to it much?
Daniel: It's strange, it's funny you mention that because I hadn't listened to it for about month, but I put it on last night! I listened to four or five songs. It's cool. Without sounding like an idiot, I still really like it. Some people make an album and say 'I can't listen to it! There's so much stuff I want to change! I regret doing this and that....' But I'm still really happy with mine!
