You might argue that you can translate emotions through films and through books but anyone can make music, whether that be humming or singing along to the radio, it’s something that gives enjoyment and positivity to many people.

ILM: How do you tend to find singers? How did you hook up with Chris Willis who is on the new single?
DAVID: That was totally by accident, a huge chance in my life. It was in Paris and I just went to a bar to have a drink. He was there with some friends of mine, he was there on holiday. And I'd just come out of the studio and had just made Just A Little More Love and I had that music in my mind and I asked Chris what he did in his life and he said 'I'm a Gospel singer, that's how I make my living, I sing in churches in America' so I invited him to the studio, but it was just a friendly thing, we never thought it was going to be professional. So he came into the studio and I was like, 'yeah I like that, let me try it' and we recorded everything in half an hour and I was totally blown away by his talent and we've never stopped working together.
