David Guetta chats to I Like Music

DAVID: Yeah, I'm gonna do Creamfields UK and Global Gathering, and I'm playing Bestival as well.

ILM: On New Year's Day 2007 you appeared at Fatboy Slim's Big Beach Boutique, how was that whole experience?

DAVID: New Year's Day with Fatboy Slim was totally crazy. That was one of the most unreal experiences… playing in the rain at 3 degrees. I have to say those people with their hands in the air going totally nuts in that weather, I was really impressed. And me playing with three CDs and then two CDs and then one CDs and then none at all because the rain killed everything was really funny. And thank God Fatboy Slim is old school and still playing vinyl, so he could finish the party after me. It was an incredible and a very unique experience

ILM: How has 2007 been so far for you?

DAVID: This year it's been incredible, really good. I've been touring America a lot. I was very astonished because, for once, America is later than Europe and The World Is Mine was number one in the Billboard radio/club airplay so this tour was extremely successful and I did not expect that at all. I was coming in very low profile and shy, but every where was totally packed and people were going crazy. I did Coachella Festival and that was really good. So it's been an incredible year. I hope all my years are going to be like that.
