ILM: What's your advice to young DJs just starting out?
DAVID: Well it's very difficult to give advice because I don't have a recipe and it took me a lot of time, so if they want to follow what I did, it'll take a long time. It took a long time for me to achieve global success. I'd say it's about having a party and giving a good time to people, sharing your passion for music and doing that with personality. Can you give a good time to people and, at the same time, play a different style of music, not what everybody else plays? That's what it's about, and working hard too.
