O'Bailey: ilikemusic because... I can live vicariously through a song, whether it's a screaming angry rock anthem or a silly kids song ("I'm a little yellow fish" anyone?) haha!
Chuck, Simple Plan: ilikemusic because... It was always a way to escape whatever problems I was going through; whatever trouble I had, I could just put on a record or a song and feel better right away and I hope that our music can have the same effect on our fans.
Just Jack: ilikemusic because... I can’t explain why I like music!
Lupe Fiasco: ilikemusic because... It gives me a chance to escape and reach people I wouldn’t ordinarily be able to reach. And without music the world would be kinda quiet.
SnR: ilikemusic because... its food for the soul!
Taio Cruz: ilikemusic because... It’s my life and it’s the air that I breathe. It calms me when I’m feeling uptight and it’s there for me when I want to party if I want to listen to something up tempo, it’s just amazing in any situation. That’s why I like music!
Master Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.
Young Robo kid: ilikemusic because... its class =]
Aaron, The Delays: ilikemusic because... It makes everything seem like an incredible film. And it does - it actually does! hahaha! I told the truth and everything....hahaha!
ILM: Will there be a new Dodgy album now you're back together?
Matthew: The problem is that we just can't get together like we used to. We used to live together. We used to get up in the morning, muck about a bit then go into the garage and write and record some songs. That was a luxury. Being able to spend time together. When we see each other it is incredibly creative and we do write lots of songs, but it is literally a case of getting together often enough to do something. Nigel has a family, Andy lives in London, I live where I live. When we get together it is great, so fingers crossed we will be able to get together this year and come out with something. I'm not sure about a new album, do people buy albums anymore? Haha! But hopefully we'll release some new songs, do more gigs.
