With the launch of their new talent competition (see end of interview for details!) we caught up with the Dolly Rockers to find out how they met each other, tips for entering the comp and why a night in is just another excuse for a party...

ILM: Firstly, what are your tips for anyone entering the How Do You Rock Your ROOS competition?

Dolly Rockers: Make sure you do something a bit different that will make you stand out from the rest. Also, have lots of confidence.

ILM: What do you think makes a star talent?

Dolly Rockers: Somebody that makes you 'want' to watch them, has a lot of stage presence and obviously a lot of talent.

ILM: What's the story behind Dolly Rockers? How did it all come together?

Dolly Rockers: We all met through an audition in the stage newspaper about 4 years ago. We left the project we were put together for and started writing our own material with song writers Ray Hedges and Nigel Butler in Jersey, then we started showcasing until we got our deal with EMI!
