ILM: Your tracks do have a very unique edge to them. What are your inspirations, musically or otherwise?

Esser: I kind of went through a phase of trying to discover music and listen to as much stuff as possible. A lot of that is credited through the album. Satisfied, for example, is made from a piano sample that I found on an old easy listening album. It's that old idea of going out and buying records from charity shops, judging them by their cover and then taking them home to see what is on them. There is a lot of me trying to find sounds on this record.

ILM: What is your earliest musical memory, when did you know this was what you wanted to do?
