ESTELLE: Well there's one song, we wrote a song for one of John's demos. I had it written down and we were like that's one of the best lyrics that will ever come up. It says, you're the gold in my sun, the silver in my moon, why can't I be everything to you. I was like, 'the gold in my sun and the silver in my moon?! Shit. That was my line. I just thought it was a beautiful phrase. I just came up with it, it just came out. I always write my lyrics down. Then he put that bit in the end, 'why can't I be everything to you?' That was good.

There are plenty of other classic song lyrics. Ella Fitzgerald and Cole Porter, another stupidly good lyric. He was saying 'mistreat me, do whatever, but I'm yours till I die, so in love with you am I?' And I'm like, there's no such thing as that right now. I've not seen a person that loves like that right now. Imagine that kind of love. He also wrote from the other point of view. 'How do you love me when I do all these crazy things to you?' Yeah!
