Everlast is best known as the frontman of House of Pain, a group formed in 1992 with Danny Boy and DJ Lethal. Their debut album, released in 1992, saw considerable success and they are best known for their hit 'Jump Around.' Everlast left House of Pain in 1996 to pursue a solo career. His second solo release, Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, sold over 3 million copies and was heralded for it's blend of rap with accoustic and electric guitars. Everlast has recently got back together with Danny Boy and DJ Lethal to form the collective La Coka Nostra. As well as an album recorded and due for release from this collaboration, Everlast also has a new solo album due for release titled Love War and The Ghost of Whitey Ford. ilikemusic caught up with Everlast to chat about these new projects, his dream collaborations, the internet and writing songs for Snoop Dog.

Other people's music speaks to me in the same fashion. There is nothing better than when somebody else writes something that resonates with you. That's kind of the goal of writing music.
