Go:Audio chat to I Like Music
ILM: Where there any Extra-esque awkward moments?!
James: A few diva strops from one member of the band...I won't say who it is....(cough) Josh! (cough)...Hahaha! Nah, I'm only joking! It was really good fun and we're all really happy with the way it turned out. It was cool to have our fans there. They were all really excited to be there. A couple of times the director had to shout 'Calm down, if you keep misbehaving you're off the set!' haha! But yeah, it was really nice.
ILM: Can you describe the Go:Audio process of making music and writing songs?
James: It is different for everyone. I know a lot of bands just go into the rehearsal studio and just jam and ad-lib. Personally, the way we do it, which we feel works best, is that we just sit round an accoustic guitar. Also, a big part of our sound is a laptop, which we have on stage to give off a lot of electronic sounds and beats. We sometimes lay a beat down and write to that. Normally the lyrics are the thing that comes last. That is the way we roll!
