  • simon f bakersimon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
  • henry rushhenry rush: ilikemusic because... ilikemusic.com keep me posted on what's happening and help me figure out what i need to do to chase my dream.
  • Murron :)Murron :): ilikemusic becuase... ITS FRIGGIN AWESOME!! I mean, who can live without music?!
  • JunJun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!
  • Leon Jean-MarieLeon Jean-Marie: ilikemusic because... It transcends. It really creates emotion with someone. That feeling it gives you, it goes through boundaries. To create something, it just breaks through all the walls. When you connect with a song, that is it, that is magic isn't it?

Gomez chat to I Like Music

A lot of its live. It was just me and Ian just sat there, he was on a keyboard and I was on the slide guitar, so it was a really nice late at night thing, quite romantic.

Then there's this crazy middle section where we got to be really loud and noisy, so that was fun.

ILM: So you've got both ends of the spectrum there.

BEN: Yeah.

ILM: You played Oxegen on Saturday and T-In The Park on Sunday, how was that?

BEN: It was great, the crowds were fantastic. Oxygen was amazing and T in the Park was even better, for the crowds. At Oxygen just above where I was stood there was a hole in the tent and I intermittently got water showered on my head and all over my guitar and my guitar amp, but apart from that it was ok and it was quite amusing for everyone. But I had an amazing time though, it was good.
