ILM: Your playing Latitude Festival this weekend too plus V Festival…
BEN: Yeah, we've got a pretty busy summer
ILM: What do you like about festivals with huge crowds as opposed to the more intimate tour venue setting?
BEN: Just that basically, the crowds and everyone's in such a good mood it really is a lot of fun. Plus we get to play to people who might not necessarily come and see us at a club gig or whatever, so it's good.
ILM: What's your favourite Gomez track to play live at the moment?
BEN: How We Operate off the new record is my favourite one live. We've extended the end so it's very intense. And Hit On The Head, which is good.
ILM: Where do you get your energy from for touring?
BEN: It can be tiring, but we've been doing it long enough now. It is hard when you have six gigs in a row, that can get pretty tiring, but it's not such a bad job all in all.
