Steve, Hard-Fi: ilikemusic because... Life is not worth living without it. Everything else could disappear, but music is the one thing that always remains with me throughout my entire life.
Danny: ilikemusic because... It's my life
Ellen, Los Campesinos: ilikemusic because... It’s the best form of escapism that you can have wherever you are. You could be completely miserable or waiting for a bus and put on any song that inspires you and you can escape into a little world, well that’s what I tend to do anyway.
graham young: ilikemusic because... its the food of love...........rock on.
Desyn Masiello: ilikemusic because... It saved my life!
Lockoutmusic: ilikemusic because... it can be personal to every indivdual. The meaning of the lyrics can be moving and also relaxing.
MATT: The Queen and I is one of those tracks where immediately it sounds kind of happy and upbeat and poppy musically, but then when you concentrate a little on the lyrics, and what Travis is talking about, it's a little darker. When we did that we were sort of remembering songs that we love, where it's sort of the same thing, like upbeat poppy sounding music and then conceptually it's a bit more of a dark image lyrically. So that's kind of how that came about It mainly deals with Travis our singers issues with women who also fancy alcohol.
ILM: It makes it more interesting because there are more layers and it encourages people to pay attention to the lyrics too.
MATT: Yeah, I think there's something for everybody too. People might like it for the music, but the immediately the people who can relate will instantly relate to the lyrics, so I think it works across the board.
ILM: Your new album, As Cruel as School Children is out now. Which track was the most fun to lay down in the studio?
