ILM: You have just released Soundsystem 01. How did that come about?

Mike: We have wanted to do this for quite some time. It's not an easy thing to do, two discs. One being down tempo and one being more club friendly. Especially with disc one. We've had all these tunes rattling around in iTunes for ages. Chris and I are score collectors. We hear something good and we always have to buy the soundtrack from Amazon or play.com. Plus we have all these little bits knocking around and ambient tracks that our frineds had given us. We asked a few of them to write bits for us, we just gave them a brief of what we wanted. Most of it was just things that we have loved for ages and thought 'Right, I wonder what would happen if we stitched those two together?' When the oppurtunity came up we just thought 'Right, let's go for it.'
