ILM: You guys are awesome when you are playing as Hybrid Live. What do you look forward to about those sets?

Mike: I think it is that nervous anticipation. It feels like you're about to be sick just before you go on stage. Chris and I get an attack of the nerves really really badly so don't ever speak to us before we go on! I think when you're DJ-ing you can be a bit blaze and wander round with a drink in your hand. Obviously you want to get the crowd into it but it can be a bit of a slow start. When you're playing live it is just such a rush from the word go and you're straight in the spotlight. Also, you're playing your own records as well, so it can be a bit nerve-racking. When it is someone elses you can say 'Oh, I played the wrong mix or that didn't go down as well, I won't play it again.' But, when it is one of your own you have to stand behind it and be proud of it. It is a lot more worrying and a lot more fun. You come off the stage absolutley ruined. You feel like you have run a marathon, even if you have only played for an hour. It is a lot more intense.
