Estelle chats to I Like Music
One session I just looked at him, and I'm like, 'I'm not doing sh1t this way.' So we ended up doing it that way and we found a happy medium, so all the songs turn out Estelle originally, but just to the tenth level. And that pushes me because it made me realise, maybe there's another way of working that's good, other than my way all the time. But my approach to it will always be freestyling rapping.
ILM: Lots of songs these days have a focus on relationships because we all have them, be they with partners, family or friends, do you have lyrics relating to relationships that you feel people can relate to (your own songs or songs you've heard that have related to you)?
