So we worked out the deal with Atlantic, we kept recording for a year, regardless. I went out there and spent my money and recorded, because I needed a way to vent. So we penned a song called More Than Friends and we took that to Atlantic. And he was like I've got this artist to the distributor who gave it to Craig and he was in love with it, so it just happened within three to four months.

ILM: Well the label is called Homeschool but it's almost like Homecoming, because it's like you've come home?

ESTELLE: Homeschool. Homecoming, yeah I've found myself. My friend said the other day, 'We're all trying to get back to our bliss point', which is the point in life when you're young or a kid when you realise that everything is right with the world. Everything that you do is trying to get back to that spot. And I feel like I've found it and I've figured out what the hell I'm supposed to be doing and why I exist. I'm pretty close to it, so the album is reflective of that, just 100%; this is me and I'm not scared anymore.
