Jacob Golden Chats To I Like Music
ILM: What are your plans for the summer?
Jacob: I'm going to be playing the Greenman Festival. I'm really looking forward to that, some of my favourite bands are there. Iron and Wine are headlining. It is just one of the festivals that really celebrates creative and leftfield music, so I'm honoured to be playing that and really excited.
There is going to be the Electric Picnic in Ireland and um…I haven't actually spent too much time in Ireland and I really feel like there is such an audience there for music and a real appreciation for acoustic music, so that should be really exciting. Hopefully I will just do some more playing and travelling. When I am touring, I try and find some time to get some experiences. I don't want to just go from one city to the next without enjoying something local. I don't want to be in the car the whole time!page << 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 >>

simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
Steve, Hard-Fi: ilikemusic because... Life is not worth living without it. Everything else could disappear, but music is the one thing that always remains with me throughout my entire life.
