ilm: Is the live set quite technical?
JZ: Erhm, because I use the EFX unit and the laptop, CDJ's and everything, Nic feels that's enough technical stuff, and, in a way, its kinda good - it calms the set down; there's not crazy shit going on all the time, so it means the set tells a bit more of a story musically, rather than being a technical display. When I first got into EFX units and stuff, I was like a kid with a new toy, just playing with it all the time. So he holds me back in a way, in a good way! We are very different DJ's so thats what makes it interesting and why it works, we both like each others music.
ilm: You have got Tom Budden and Koz in support...
JZ: Yeah, we have Tom in Miami but mostly we have Kos for the world tour. Kos is going to be driving the Dumb and Dummer style sheep dog which we will be driving across America for a whole month! [laughs] The great thing is, he's obviously going to get tired and Nic will have to drive at some point, but' because I have never passed my test or even know how to drive, I am going to be able to chill the whole time, it's going to be brilliant! [laughs]
