James Zabiela chats to I Like Music about One+One with Nic Fanciulli
I Like music caught up with James Zabiela while he was at the local skate park to chat about what's going on... (we also caught up with Nic Fanciulli too, the other One - here)
ilm: So, One+One. You and Nic Fanciulli, a huge world tour, an album and a mini label? Tell us more.
JZ: Yeah, it's not so much a label, its just a one off really, so we can output the couple of singles that we have done...
ilm: They are 'Rover' and 'No Pressure' right?
JZ: Yeah, the two tracks book-end our CD. The first track on CD1 is Rover, and the last track on CD2 is No Pressure. We sort of had that in mind when we were making them, so the first one [Rover] is a chilled opening record and the last one is an end of night anthem.
ilm: Getting two very busy DJ's like Nic and youself, juggling all these things together, making tracks, a tour, mixing and recording and album, must be some effort?
