James Zabiela chats to I Like Music about One+One with Nic Fanciulli

JZ: It is yeah, funnily the track Rover was the one we made first and we made it in 4 locations. I did a bit on my laptop and gave Nic the parts; he did a bit in his studio, and then we were drving to his house in his car, so I plugged my laptop into his car stereo. We did the main bulk of the track in his car, that's why we called the track Rover. Also it sounds a bit like raver, which we quite like. We actually finished the track off on iPod speakers in his front room! It was all very chilled and not very professional but somehow came out sounding ok.

A kind of a similar thing happened with the second track. Nic gave me a bunch of loops. He started the track this time. I did a bit on a flight to LA and, by pure coincidence, Nic was in LA for his Grammy nomination, which he got for a remix of **Tiefswarts** that he did last year. I happened to be there for a few days, he happend to be there for a few days at the same time, rather strangely. Anyway, we ended up doing the bulk of that track in the hotel room on the hotel stereo. No Pressure pretty much sums up the whole experience. All very relaxed.
