James Zabiela chats to I Like Music about One+One with Nic Fanciulli

JZ: I think the first CD is more chilled and melodic, it's more of a listening CD. It's all club music, but you can put it on at home. It doesn't make you want to get up and rave, and hopefully won't get the neighbours complaining too much. With the second CD it's kind of like heaven and hell, its gnarly and dark, it's got a lot of evil techno moments, so its two sides of a coin, I guess. It's all records that we like and play out. So you are going to hear the tracks live too.

ilm: Will the One+One live shows be a progression like that too?

JZ: I think it will yeah. If we have a whole night to ourselves in a club, Nic will probably start off, then I'll do a bit, and then we will do the rest together. He is pretty good when it comes to playing that warm housey sound. When we play together there is some sort of strange grey area where our sounds meet in the middle and it's quite interesting and a lot of fun. Which was the reason for doing the whole CD in the first place.
