Steve, Hard-Fi: ilikemusic because... Life is not worth living without it. Everything else could disappear, but music is the one thing that always remains with me throughout my entire life.
simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
Kevin Michael: ilikemusic because... I’ve been singing my entire life. I cannot go without listening to it or singing for a day. I wake up to it, I go to sleep to it, I am music.
Leon Jean-Marie: ilikemusic because... It transcends. It really creates emotion with someone. That feeling it gives you, it goes through boundaries. To create something, it just breaks through all the walls. When you connect with a song, that is it, that is magic isn't it?
Sarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!
Demi: ilikemusic because... Girl's love music.
Carvadeya: ilikemusic because... It makes it easier for me to get away with doing things like wearing make-up and nail varnish!
Newton Faulkner: ilikemusic because... I’m absolutely rubbish at everything else.
MelissaBeckyLeah: ilikemusic because... itz frikin amazing mann!
ilm: Do your sets vary when you play in all these countries across the world?
JZ: For this One+One tour, it will depend on how long we get to play for. If we have got a very short set time we will just play back-to-back the whole time, and that will be different from when I'm playing on my own or when Nic plays on his own, it will be that sort of middle ground between our music. So I think they will vary in that respect, but no matter where you go, it is important to stick to your guns when it comes to your sound.
It wouldnt be very true to yourself if you were just playing whatever you think people wanted to hear all the time. But, on the other hand, if you go to somehwere like Italy, you will find that certain records, perhaps more dark, techno, deep driving, tribal things will go down better there than they would if you were say in Australia, where people are more into breakier house, a more gnarly sound. So yeh, they vary, but it's important to stick you your guns musically I think.
