ILM: Last year you supported CSS, Babyshambles, Dizzee Rascal and the Kaiser Chiefs as well as playing your own headline gigs. That's a diverse range of bands -any standout moments you can reveal?
Dom: The Babyshambles tour was wicked. Wembley Stadium was a mad time in itself. Touring is always a really mad experience. I can't think of a specific thing that I can tell you about and get away with right now! Haha!
ILM: Your music is an inspired blend of garage rock, classic pop and doo-wop with amazing choruses and searing guitars. Can you describe the Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong process of making such good music?
Dom: All of our songs usually start from one person's idea. It just depends on what he plays. Joe always writes the lyrics, he is always writing things down. Whenever we start getting something together he will tend to say 'I've got some lyrics already that will be perfect for this.' We rehearse at this place in Hackney and we all just sit down together and just say…"OK we've got the first bit, what would be the coolest thing to happen next?"
