ILM: Your new TRANSITIONS VOL.3 mix album is out on September 24th. It represents a snapshot of your favourite tunes and producers, but also that specific energy you get at 3 or 4am at the best clubs around the world. Can you describe the whole vibe of the album in your own words?
JOHN: It's that time when I'm already two or three hours into my set, so If you listen to the first couple of albums, that reflects more what you're likely to hear when I'm first on the decks; trying to set the mood and quite atmospheric, building a steady pace towards where things get a bit more driving and a more relentless. So, what I've tried to do with this album is to reflect that part of the night in the CD.
