JOHN: It's a tricky question because I am constantly bombarded with new tracks from DJs and producers from around the planet. Even in the car I've got a car full of new stuff that's been sent through, so I don't listen to a Prince album or whatever it's new music all the time, because otherwise there's no time to listen to it.
The amount of music that gets sent to me on a daily basis is quite incredible now. Especially with AIM and emails, new music pops up every half an hour or so. If you don't get on top of it and listen to it at that point you're going to miss stuff and I'm always searching for the next big record, so I can't let anything rest. I'm always listening to stuff I've been sent through the post or online. I think it's really important when you're a DJ at this level to be at the top of your game.
