Katie certainly has her favourites. Of all the tracks on Call Off The Search, Katie says she had most fun recording Call Off The Search itself
"Because, tthat was one of the first tracks that we recorded that, when we recorded it we knew that it was just right. Literally we did it in one take, and it came out so easily, and when they come out really quickly easily, it really is the best and you just feel great as an artist I think."
But Katie's favourite track to play live is Lilac Wine.
"I don't know why," explains Katie. "It really is a favourite, it just has something as a song. The lyrics and the melody just seem to get out a special performance. Of course, I love The Closest Thing To Crazy and I love Faraway Voice, but there's just something about Lilac Wine that it makes it a perfect song to sing."
"Performing is absolutely what I love and my favourite part of my job really. I think there was one particular gig where, I don't know what it was, but it felt so other-worldly.
