Jun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!

RICHARD: It's a reaction to a certain singer who seemed to make it his mission to slag us off at every point, but really didn't seem to be being true to himself, or to have understood what we are. We don't want to get into some tabloid slanging match, but we just felt like he was acting a part, and really pretending to be someone he is not. We really feel that you don't have to be all glitzy and tabloid to make good music, and that there's a bond between musicians and artists that should be held up - why not talk about a band you love or a song that inspired you?
ILM: You released Atlantic - a groundbreaking short film download on April 21st. This was directed by cult author Iivine Welsh. He's a fan and you guys approached him, what did he say and what was it like filming with Irvine?
RICHARD: Irvine has never directed anything for anyone before, so it was really f***ing cool that he wanted to work with us. We heard through a friend that he was interested in directing, so we got in touch, invited him down to the studio to listen to some new songs, and he particularly connected with "Atlantic". We basically let his imagination run riot, and made an extended version of the song as he wanted the video to be a little longer than the song. He's a very cool, very humble man, when you consider what a legend he is.
