I'll often play down drums to the demo, then we record from there, and sometimes go back and redo a lot of stuff as it grows. With the first album we had lots of time and had rehearsed the songs enough to just go and record them pretty quickly, but with this new album we had to work it out as we went along. It was pretty cool to be able to go into the studio and record what we felt like - in the end we had so much equipment set up that it was hard to walk through the room.
