I'd turn up in the morning, open my car door and not know what crazy sound Tim was getting out of his piano - it rarely sounded like a piano, that's for sure. One of the most crucial moments in a song's life is when Tom sings it for the first time - it's a real make or break moment.

ILM: Everybody's Changing is one of those classics that so many people can relate to. Where do you go to write your lyrics and find inspiration?

RICHARD: I think they come to Tim when he's sat at the piano with a clear head. The songs are a reflection of us as people, and our lives, so they come from within, and the world we see around us.
ILM: How was LIVE 8? That must've been such a buzz!

RICHARD: It was over in a flash - I can't remember much about it, but I did bump into Paul Mccartney as we came off stage - he'd been there singing along. It was good to feel like we were able to be a small part of a really big event that gave real people the chance to be heard collectively. I hate to sound cliched, but it wasn't really about the bands.
