ilm: Has there been any favorite live experiences as a punter going to see others play?
Lady Sov: I don't go to that many gigs, ummm ... [Sovereign thinks] Probably something like a Grime night at Fabric, so you know, Kano and all the boys, Jammo, Wiley, Roll Deep, all them lot man, going to one of those sort of raves.
ilm: Yeh nice ... Can you describe the Lady Sovereign process of writing such good lyrics and music?
Lady Sov: Well I'm a perfectionist so you know I kinda take my time with things. I prefer to go to the studio and vibe there, so I'll actually sit down with the producer, build up the track and then the track will inspire me to whatever topic I'm going to write about. When I feel the beat is when my feeling sort of comes out for it, so it sort of sways me towards a topic to write about.
ilm: So, You're 19 now right?
