ILM: What would be your dream collaboration?

Laura: Probably Al Green. I actually met him. As far as collaborations go for me, with absolute legends or otherwise, it has to be an enjoyable process. Something that you can look back on when you listen to the record and go "Damn, that was fun!" After meeting him, and being such a fanatic fan, I was just like, "You know what? A few days in the studio with that guy would be an absolute dream!" I've actually already created a little song with that in mind......hahaha....after this record I'm going to try and send it out to him!

ILM: What are your future plans?

Laura: You know, there are these artists that want to be actors, or have their own fashion lines or whatever. I honestly just want to get better. After this record I want to make a better record. That's the honest truth. Other opportunities might come along and that would be cool, I'll roll with it and have fun, but I just want to make music. I'm itching already. Everytime I speak to my manager I'm just like "Oh, let me get in the studio!" I can't wait until this record is out so that I can begin the next!
