ILM: What do you look forward to most about playing live?

Laura: I love getting up there with the band. That's the best thing. I've done a lot of solo gigs over the years. It's great because no matter what we're doing I know I have my boys there! We were actually just told we will be doing the Aretha Franklin support slot in New York! I'm SO excited about that! A year ago I would have been so nervous but now, with the band and the whole energy, it's just like "Yeeeeaaaaaahhhh!"

ILM: What music are you into at the moment?

Laura: My heart will always lie with Otis Redding. Otis Blue is one of my favourite records. Donny Hathaway, These Songs For You, Live! is, in my opinion, the best live album ever! Right now I like T.I, I've really liked a lot of his stuff. I'm also a big fan of Jazmine Sullivan...I really like everything though, you know?
