ILM: You guys were first spotted in the Isle of Wight by Elite and then Polydor. What advice do you have to bands about getting signed?
MARK: We were actually in London, we'd been living in London for two or three years and doing our best making a living up there, I was working in Macaris Music Store on Charing Cross Road for 18 months or so, and Boon came up and was working in a carpet factory, and Phil was studying at the Royal Academy of Music and Mike was studying at the Guildhall School of Music, so we really met up and formed the band in London, but there's no doubt, three of us did come from the Isle Of Wight and when we did an audition for Polydor records we did that at La Babalu club on the Isle of Wight which is now a Tesco store like most places.
