simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
Terry, The Temptations: ilikemusic because... There’s no way I could ever imagine a world without music.
joseph daniel: ilikemusic because... coz itz me huh
Taio Cruz: ilikemusic because... It’s my life and it’s the air that I breathe. It calms me when I’m feeling uptight and it’s there for me when I want to party if I want to listen to something up tempo, it’s just amazing in any situation. That’s why I like music!
Rob Cremona: ilikemusic because... Cool laid back soul, atmospheric instrumentals and the occasional gospel choirs to lift my soul.
KT Tunstall: ilikemusic because... It makes me feel alive!
David Jordan: ilikemusic because... It makes me feel good and it puts me in a happy mood.
Robyn: ilikemusic because... It’s the way I want to express myself. It’s not a choice. It’s just always been there. It’s just what I do.
pdog: ilikemusic because... it always makes me feel better
ILM: All part of the journey. So, tell us about what you're up to now and your future plans?
MARK: The Definitive Collection is out now (June 12th) and I start rehearsals and our first festival is in Denmark on June 17th, and then we're in Holland on 24th and Madrid on 29th and then Vienna on July 1st. So a very big festival season starting now, and we have a brand new studio album coming out in September called Retroglide, and I'm ever so excited about that, because this a collection of new songs and that's going to great to be able to take out on the road, which we're doing… We start the UK tour on October 4th and that goes right the way through until we finish in Scotland on November 2nd, and then we're off into Europe after that, so a really busy time.
ILM: Can you describe the Level 42 process of making such bloody good music?
