Luciana and Super Mal chat to I Like Music
You know summer is here when radio stations start serving up bangers like Bigger Than Big. This single is most definitely bigger than big, and should further cement Ivor Novello nominated and pop princess in waiting Luciana's tight grip of the UK charts. This year she was up for the prestigious songwriting award, in the Best Contemporary Song category for her and Bodyrox's UK No.2 hit single 'Yeah Yeah', alongside Amy Winehouse and Hot Chip. Much like 'Yeah,Yeah', Luciana's new single is bold, sassy and utterly infectious - a surefire summer smash if ever there was one. Producers Super Mal, influenced by the best of the Gallic scene (Daft Punk, Justice and Para One), have created a radio friendly monster of a record which is set to ram dance floors from the UK to the white isle this summer.
I Like Music caught up with Luciana and Super Mal's Linden to talk about the new single, the Ivor Novello nomination and songwriting for Kylie.
