lolo: ilikemusic because... music is where some people display affection, show emotions and actually showing off who they are and their thinking. it is special unlike anything cos it goes out and never comes in back but in others.
Peter Cincotti: ilikemusic because... Of what the world would be without it. It’d be a very scary place. I think we’d all be screwed.
Chuck, Simple Plan: ilikemusic because... It was always a way to escape whatever problems I was going through; whatever trouble I had, I could just put on a record or a song and feel better right away and I hope that our music can have the same effect on our fans.
Rowan: ilikemusic because... it helps me chill out
Martin Rowe-Miller: ilikemusic because... it enabled me to win the Motorokrstar UK competition and record with Wyclef and Fergie.

ILM: Your new single, Bigger Than Big is out on July 9th. Can you describe how the track came about and describe its whole vibe?
LUCIANA: Well, Super Mal sent us the backing track, and I'd had these lyrics going around in my head for a few weeks and I kept singing them. Then the track came in and they seemed to fit perfectly over it. That's like a little piece of magic when it happens.
ILM: This year you were up an Ivor Novello award, in the Best Contemporary Song category for your and Bodyrox's UK No.2 hit single 'Yeah Yeah', alongside Amy Winehouse and Hot Chip. How did you feel about that?
LUCIANA: That was fantastic. I felt like I was gatecrashing someone's party. I was absolutely gobsmacked even to be there. We had champagne… it was a really nice day, really lovely.
ILM: Describe the Luciana process of songwriting? Is it usually lyrics first or melody?
LUCIANA: Well, basically what I do is… I write loads of sayings or things that come into my mind or sentences or odd words, and I put them all into a book. I've got so many books and, when I hear a backing track, I surround myself with all my stuff, and then things just come to me that way. Or, sometimes, I come up with a melody first, like a more ad hoc approach to lyric writing rather than sitting down with pen and paper and expecting things to come together straight off; it doesn't work that way. That's why it's sometimes a bit quirky, because it doesn't make sense, although it does eventually.
