Leon Jean-Marie: ilikemusic because... It transcends. It really creates emotion with someone. That feeling it gives you, it goes through boundaries. To create something, it just breaks through all the walls. When you connect with a song, that is it, that is magic isn't it?

Jun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!

Centered around the work of 21 year old songwriter and producer Mica Levi, the album is a fast paced chaotic journey which melds elements of electronica with erratic beats, rhythms, shouts, cries and home-made instruments. Exceptionally fresh and well produced Mica seems to be at the forefront of music experimentation, proving that new ways of thinking and working, combined with a natural talent and ear for rhythm and melody, are a winning combination.
Mica's success does not start with her debut album (and most certainly will not end with it.) She has travelled to Cape Town in South Africa in aid of The White Ribbon Alliance Charity, she was chosen as a Young Composer Of The Year and, as a result had her ten minute composition workshopped and played live by The London Philharmonic Orchestra in the Royal Festival Hall. Her Filthy Friends mixtape, which focuses more on grime and experimental hiphop, features the talent of Man Like Me, Ghost Poet, Taza, Miss Bienek, Toddla T, Baker Trouble, Bruva May, Naked and the Boys, The Golden Silvers, Troyker as well as various remixes.
