Apostolos Melis: ilikemusic because... IT MAKES ME FEEL WONDERFUL
Alfonso, The Hoosiers: ilikemusic because... Because, because, because, because, because of the wonderful things he does… I’m off to see the wizard…[singing] the wonderful wizard of oz…
Lalor: ilikemusic because... you can make it anything you need
simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
susan rowe: ilikemusic because... it reaches the soul, sooths the mind, speaks volumes, lightens the heart. music is food for my soul.
RejinaReclusive: ilikemusic because... it helps me remember. It helps me forget. It helps me be strong and it makes me cry. Music screams the words I can't say, the feelings I can't express. It makes my heart feel alive.
Kevin Michael: ilikemusic because... I’ve been singing my entire life. I cannot go without listening to it or singing for a day. I wake up to it, I go to sleep to it, I am music.
Scott, Thin Lizzy: ilikemusic because... It lets my adrenalin start pumping, it gets aggression out, and sometimes I can actually get emotional with it. There are many reasons why I like music.
Steve, Hard-Fi: ilikemusic because... Life is not worth living without it. Everything else could disappear, but music is the one thing that always remains with me throughout my entire life.
People listen to it in all these different circumstances, driving home from work or making dinner or getting ready to go to sleep or first thing in the morning or when they're, I don't know, going on holiday and so this music lives in so many different places and honestly I can't conceive of it. I've tried to, but it's like trying to conceive of, you know, the 8 million people who live in London.
You know, like try and conceive of the hundred people who live in the building you live in and try and conceive of the 10,000 people in a half mile radius and just keep expanding and at some point the brain shuts down. So when I try and think of all the music I've put out into the world and the myriad ways in which it's entered people's lives, it makes me happy on a very general level, but the truth is, when I try and think of the specifics of it, my brain shuts down.
