(Energy): ilikemusic because... its apart of life x
Rasmus, Alphabeat: ilikemusic because... It makes me happy and it makes me dance around and sometimes it makes me a bit emotional. It encompasses all the emotions from happiness to sadness and it’s fun to play too.
Alistair: ilikemusic because... you can relate to the lyrics and through music you can express your emotions and feelings.
O'Bailey: ilikemusic because... I can live vicariously through a song, whether it's a screaming angry rock anthem or a silly kids song ("I'm a little yellow fish" anyone?) haha!
Sam, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly: ilikemusic because... Music is a special thing that is not like anything else in the world. You might argue that you can translate emotions through films and through books but anyone can make music, whether that be humming or singing along to the radio, it’s something that gives enjoyment and positivity to many people.
vickki: ilikemusic because... it makes mii wanna get up and dance and because when u kno the words u can't help but sing along and that makes u feel happy !!!
Stine Richard: ilikemusic because... its the only way I know how to express myself...
Sarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!
MelissaBeckyLeah: ilikemusic because... itz frikin amazing mann!"I Like Music because… it helps me escape the real world." MZ BRATT
ILM: You've just released your single Who Do You Think You Are. What can we expect from your debut album?
Mz Bratt: There's a few man bashing tracks on there, but it's not that bad toward guys! The tracks are very dancey, up-tempo, positive, feel-good tracks. I'm just talking about experiences from my life, so there are a few serious tracks in there. There's a grime influence on there too, I come from the grime scene. A real mixture.
ILM: How would you describe your process of making music?
Mz Bratt: It depends who I'm working with. With my producer, who I've worked with for four years, we'll either make something from scratch together or he'll make something and I'll sit there and write on the spot. Sometimes we get a track done in a day, sometimes longer. I've just had a session with T2. That was a lot longer. He got to the studio late, it took me ages to write because I was so tired. We're going to meet up again and finish that off. It all depends. It's got a lot to do with where and when you feel comfortable.
