Nikola Rachelle chats to I Like Music

"Now THAT was fun!" Nikola Rachelle is beaming. She's just come off stage at London's Jazz Cafe and is conducting the ceremonial after show post-mortem with her band. It's smiles all round. "Great crowd....WOW! I love feeling that connection with each person in the audience and the intensity of those moments."

She does indeed have every right to feel jubilant. By the end of her set the audience are in her hands, transfixed by her voice and passionate delivery.
What's more, since that night playing a support slot at the Jazz Cafe, Nikola Rachelle has released her debut EP, Don't Talk About Love (out October 30th) and Bullet, one of the tracks featured on the EP, has already been picked to be iTunes Single Of The Week!

I Like Music caught up with Nikola to talk about her debut EP, the buzz she gets from playing her own songs live, and the inspiration she gets from her brother and sister, Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield.

"I like music because… it's what the soul feels and sees. It's passion and emotion and the joy of music all mixed in one."
