Sylvia Powell: ilikemusic because... It can make me happy yet it can make me feel sad. It helps me remember, but it can also make me forget. Most of all I like music because it makes me feel alive.
And also singing harmonies with my brother and sister, there's nothing like it because you're brother and sister and we all have a similar tone somewhere. Daniel and Natasha's voices really match well together, mine is slightly different, it's a little bit deeper, so I'm always singing the Alto. So, when we sing together there's a sound that comes I've never heard, a natural sound. It becomes a chord, there's a clarity and you get a buzz from it, so that's also a highlight for me. I love harmonies.
ILM: And you're related and have got that bond and connection which ttransfers to the sound.
NIKOLA: Yeah it does too, that connection.
ILM: What are your main goals and ambitions in life?
NIKOLA: Really, my main ambition is to touch people's hearts I think, with the songs that I've been touched by. Yeah, that for me is the main theme of my life, to get people to understand what you mean. That gives me a buzz. When you connect with someone and they're right there, either you're talking or singing to them, and you're completely on the same wavelength, that gives me a buzz. And you can see it, even when you're on stage, you can see when someone's hearing every word.
